24th September 2025 Day trip to Savill Gardens
Resting in the heart of Windsor Great Park, The Savill Garden is one of Britain's greatest ornamental gardens. Commissioned by George V and created by Sir Eric Savill in 1932, The Savill Garden has been an inspiration for all.
This natural haven of 35 acres of beautifully designed gardens and woodl was enjoyed by everyone as can be seen from the photos below.
This was a very enjoyable ‘at leisure’ day, going to Bridport in the morning and then, after lunch, proceeding to West Bay for a chance to see the sea and have a cup of tea before coming home.
