We’ve arranged a visit to the Hovercraft Museum in Lee-On-Solent on Tuesday November 10th.

The museum is situated in one of the iconic Type J hangers within ‘Seaplane Square’ an important part of the former HMS Daedalus Naval base. From the pivotal role in naval aviation to its contribution to Hovercraft innovation HMS Daedalus remains a landmark of engineering and historical significance.

We plan to arrive at 10.15 where we’ll be given a tour of the museum. Included in the price of £7.50 is a cup of tea with biscuits.

Depending on the number of people interested in the visit, we’ll either travel by coach or we’ll car share.
