A down and up 2.3 or 3.3mile ramble through the West Woods at Farley Mount. Visit the site of Sparsholt Villa Rustica and (if enough energy) the folly dedicated to a horse called “Beware Chalk Pitt). The area is hilly and can be muddy after heavy rains. After the walk refreshments can be had at the Dolphin PH in Hursley Village.
