We are a vibrant and friendly group and we invite new members to join us!
Our friendly meet and greet team are waiting to welcome you to Eastleigh District u3a.
As a member you can
- attend a new members' coffee morning where you can learn more about the u3a and meet other members over a cuppa.
- attend the monthly open meeting with a guest speaker every third Wednesday at 2pm in Fair Oak Village Hall. Refreshments provided.
- attend our Christmas and Summer socials.
- join as many interest groups as you wish.
- join our day trips, theatre visits and concerts throughout the year.
- join other members for meals at our various luncheon clubs.
- receive a bi-monthly bulletin with up to date news of what's happening in your u3a
- receive the national u3a magazine Third Age Matters 5 times a year.
- join our private Facebook group and exchange news etc with other member.
You can join us online, by post or at an open meeting. The annual membership fee is currently £20.00 per year, or £10.00 from 1st April to 30th September 2026. Please remember to Gift Aid us if you are eligible (at foot of application form).
Associate Member
If you're already a full member of another UK u3a, you can join Eastleigh district u3a at the reduced rate of £16.00 pa, or £8 from 1st April to 30th September 2026. This gives you full access to all of our activities, on the same terms as our 'home' members.
Reciprocal Group Member
We have reciprocal arrangements with u3as in the SE Region. This means that if you are a member of a local u3a you can attend one of our Interest Groups regularly. The same terms apply to all who attend the group, so there may be room hire charges to pay. If there is a waiting list Reciprocal Group Members will be required to stand down in favour of Full or Associate Eastleigh District members.
