A circular walk of 6¼ miles in the South Downs National Park. It has views of Old Winchester and across the downs to the Solent. It passes through Exton with glimpses of the River Meon, past a 13th century church, along the former Meon Valley Railway line to Warnford and watercress beds. There is a stiff climb back up Beacon Hill. En route refreshments could be at The Shoe Inn or the George and Falcon.
